Music recording with my children
Mon, 12/07/2009 - 21:02 — JillI have recently been involved with recording a Christmas Music CD with our neighbors and my two girls. It has been such a wonderful experience. Recording music can be a very tedious endeavor and the girls have been amazing. To see them both display such patience and perserverance is encouraging to me. As a homeschool parent I tend to get down on myself when they don't cooperate with my teaching abilities but then I see them in this different light and realize that it isn't really the subject that matters, it is the virtues you use while learning and teachi
Falling off the Raw Food Wagon
Sat, 12/05/2009 - 09:19 — JillI started off great! I went for about 3 weeks straight of cooking and eating only raw food. My family (husband and two young girls) were even into it. Then I got a bit tired. It takes a lot of planning and prep time. I don't always have the forthought or the time to spend on cooking so I started slipping.
